A $1.5 million bequest will fund the first endowed chair at the Business School at the University of Colorado at Denver.
The Robert H. Reynolds Faculty Fellowship in Global Business was initially endowed with a $388,000 donation before Reynolds' death in 2002. With the passing of his wife, Viola Reynolds, last summer, an additional $1.1 million was given to the endowment.
Wayne Cascio, professor of management at the school, has been named to the chair.
For the past five years, Reynolds' initial endowment went toward faculty research and course development and sponsored a lecture series about international business. Reynolds made his money in the import- export business.
