Colorado State tight end Kory Sperry, one of two former Rams at the combine, said teams have given plenty of attention to his left knee.
Sperry tore his left anterior cruciate ligament in the second game of the 2007 season, only a week after a three-touchdown day in a loss against Colorado. He then played all of the 2008 season and finished with 38 catches and six touchdowns.
"I don't think a lot of people expected me to come back the way I did from my ACL, as strong as before," Sperry said. "Because not only do you have to get over it physically, you have to get over it mentally. You get hurt. You're going to worry about it all the time, and if you worry about it all the time, you're going to get hurt again.
"I think a lot of teams might have been expecting me not to come back as strong as I did before."
