Up with People names new CEO

Alain Thiry has been named chief executive of Up with People.
Thiry, 53, is a former student and field staff member of the Denver-based international and cultural organization. He is CEO of EMSi LLC, which he founded in 2003.
He succeeds Thomas J. Spaulding, who resigned in October.
