The analog age is over for KBDI-Channel 12. The PBS station announced that it won't repair the transmission antenna that was damaged last month by the wind. It is urging its viewers to switch to its digital signals (12-1, 12-2, 12-3).
Wick Rowland, president and general manager of Colorado Public Television, said the latest decision was to save membership dollars on a repair that would provide only three or four months' benefit before analog is turned off completely. The station will operate three digital channels.
