57% of American adults have a broadband Internet connection at home. That's cause for increasing concern to pay-TV providers because these homes can watch TV and film programming for free online. And that might make them that much less willing to pay the average monthly home cable bill of $84.59.

Miley Cyrus, winner of two trophies at last year's Kids' Choice Awards, has three nominations for this year's awards. The Hannah Montana star earned nods for favorite TV actress and female singer and favorite voice for her role as Penny in the canine adventure Bolt. Nickelodeon's 22nd annual awards show airs March 28.
America's Got Talent is saying goodbye to Jerry Springer, who just announced he won't return as host of the NBC talent show this summer. He cited other commitments, including his talk show and a stage role (he didn't offer details about the play). NBC announced Monday that entertainer-producer-comic Nick Cannon will replace him.
