* Derek Fribbs was the Class 5A golf medalist this season, firing rounds of 73-69 at the Eisenhower Blue course to win the state title by six shots over Douglas County teammate Cody Kent. A University of Colorado recruit, Fribbs, the Rocky's All-Colorado player of the year, had even better rounds during the season.

He shot 65 at Buffalo Run and 67 at South Suburban, and his performance at the Air Force Academy helped the Jeff Riley-coached Huskies to victory in the hotly contested team race.

Fribbs is joined on the All-Colorado team by Kent, Class 4A medalist Brenden Beeg of Douglas County, Class 3A medalist Michael Reitz of Denver Christian, plus Mike Guerra of Air Academy and Jonathan Park of Overland, who tied for third in 5A.

Riley, who stressed team compatibility, is the All-Colorado coach of the year after guiding the Huskies to their first team championship.
