OUTSIDE DRY CREEK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, CENTENNIAL - Voting was steady through the morning at two precincts that have polling places in Dry Creek Elementary School, an election judge said.

"The clerk told us to expect lines in the morning, at lunch and at night," said the judge, who declined to give his name. "This morning when polls opened, 50 to 60 people were standing in line."

The line stretched about 100 feet from the school parking lot to the cafeteria and gym, said two poll watchers, who also declined to give their names because they weren't authorized to speak to reporters.

After the initial surge, people walked in, signed in and voted.

About 9:30 a.m., there were more judges than voters inside.
