A sleek, pretty and powerful phone. Taking advantage of the must-have accessory, I'm texting in reports from 2 of the week's busy days 2 give U an insider's view of the shows. :-* :-* (air kiss, air kiss! Mwah, mwah!)

9:46 am, peter som: battled rainy snow 4 2 blocks 2 get here. Just made it! Tempted 2 leap out of my 6th row seat 2 tackle model wearing stunning navy plaid flannel bathrobe coat. It would b taken as homage 2 NY Giants and their super bowl win last night, right? LOL

9:50 am: spotted: Mandy Moore in front of me, looking cute and girlish in ponytail and gray dress. Anna Wintour here in trademark oversize sunglasses. And I finally place the stunning starlet in front row (c'mon, that much cleavage and a red dress could only b someone on tv). It's minka kelly, aka lyla garrity, from friday night lights. My hubby will b jealous.

10:24 am, carolina herrera: I've been standing in line in a crush of black-clad fashionistas 4 20 minutes waiting 4 my seating assignment. About 2 bop this tiny italian man who keeps pushing me on the head with my blackberry!

10:31 am, badgley mischka: only 31 minutes late! That's downright prompt for a fashion show! Luxurious tweeds, buttery leathers, glittering gowns. Oh 2 b rich and fabulous!Spotted: aisha tyler

10:38 am: standing is awful. Can see models from shoulders up only. Lots of jaunty feathers adorning caps. Apparently, u should invest in plumage 4 fall! Oh, and if 1 of those extra long feathers happens to poke a certain designer's eye, that'd be all right w me! ;)

11:01: forget faux pas, I'm eating a bagel.

11:11 am, r. scott french: spotted: supermodels niki taylor, tyson beckford (pimping their reality show make me a supermodel.) Down row: america's next top model judge nigel barker in a pinstripe suit with stovepipe legs. Paparazzi going bananas.

11:26 am, monique lhuillier: flashbulbs r popping! It's, it's, . . . Wait 4 it . . . Kim raver. Wasn't she jack's girlfriend on 24? She's now on lipstick jungle. Cute fancy coat, tho!

11:31 am: show opens to joan jett's crimson n clover, but I can still clearly hear tyson scream "good job, baby, good job" as contestant from his show walks runway. Love the hipster professor looks. Two words: elbow pads! But while kilt, crazy mixed plaids and capt. Kirk shirt r theatrical on runway, wear them in LoDo, and people will be ROTFL!

11:36 am: ok, I wanna watch the clothes, but I'm totally distracted by the camera that keeps flying over my head. Pretty dresses, I think.

11:55 am, outside bryant park: Walking 2 NY public library 4 jill stuart show, Nearly taken out by tyra banks and her entourage. "She look ugly" one onlooker said. I have 2 disagree. "She look hot!"

12:21 pm, backstage before cynthia steffe: there's a wait for the designer, so I bide my time in beauty area where disgustingly beautiful and thin and young models r being made 2 look even more beautiful. Life = not fair. Talk to Dennis Lanni, hairdresser working 4 Bumble and Bumble. "We're keeping all the hair down," he says as he combs a long piece of fake hair. "It's a very optimistic collection. There are a lot of people out there in NA or AA, but this is a healthy outlook on life so the hair is full and healthy." So there u have it: hair as healer. Reaffirming my belief that a great 'do is key 2 happiness.

12:25 pm, jill stuart: cameras going crazy but can't tell who's getting the attention. Also, just spotted Hilary Swank, front row!

12:45: show was supposed 2 start at noon. Still mass of paparazzi on runway. OMG! Just heard: tyra! Taking back the "hot" comment. >:(

12:50 pm: still waiting. Just watched a model with a thick russian accent eat FOUR grapes! See, they do eat!

12:53 pm: show starts! Gold metallic trench, perfect gossip girl UES school girl blazers, party dresses. Blair Waldorf would approve.

12:59 pm: give up waiting. Need 400 grapes.

1:08: over? over IT!

1:12 pm: in need of a little RnR, I'm hitting open house for spanx at nearby hotel. After half day spent sighing wistfully at skinny models, I'm feeling a body shaper is in order. New springline is pretty and functional. Love that. And beauty brand prescriptives was there to mix me a custom gloss!

2:46, betsey johnson: I say it every time, but I betsey. Her theme for fall: beat chick. Cool jazz is playing. Colorful lights hang over runway. Tables topped with red roses in wine casks line catwalk. Jack kerouac-lookalikes smoke cigarettes and play bongos while sassy models in berets don betsey's signature girlie looks.

3:04: bj does her cartwheel and shows off her cute little granddaughter, who's way more into the balloons!

3:42 pm, diesel: daring denim. It was a gas! Spotted: M.I.A.

6:35 pm, max azria; in the 4th row. at least 10 seats in front row before me remain empty, with a rope in front of them 2 hold paparazzi at bay.

6:40 pm: brittany murphy is first 2 arrive. Then rose mcgowan (so tiny and young-looking in a sweet pink dress). Then joss stone (a sophisticate in a tight dress and updo). Then rihanna (rocking a new shorter do). There's Amy Smart! There's Jaime King! There's Fergie!

6:47 pm: lights dim and I really want these corset looks. Corset belts, corset dresses, corset vests, corset bustiers. Bonus; some sweet shots of back of rihanna's head! LOL!

7:36 pm, G Star Raw: they closed the doors 2 venue at Gotham Hall, me still standing outside, but a friendly staffer answered my plea 2 B let in. Hot leather pants, second skin denim, crazy astronaut leather hoods, sweeping floor-length denim. Wicked cool. Totally rock star.

7:47 pm: OMG! Dennis hopper is on the rolling walkway! I have no idea what strange thing he was reciting, but Dennis Hopper was on the runway! Rock star!

9:15 pm: Phew! 2 days of glamour and my feet are killing me. Off 4 a glass of champagne.Check in with me next week 4 a trend wrap up. TTFN! :)
