— The Broncos' injury-depleted backfield took another hit Monday when two running backs were placed on injured reserve.

Selvin Young was placed on RI with a ruptured disk/neck injury and P.J. Pope with a torn hamstring.

They will be replaced on the roster by running backs Cory Boyd and Alex Haynes, who were activated from the practice squad to the active roster.

Other Broncos running backs on IR are Michael Pittman, Andre Hall, Peyton Hillis, Ryan Torain and Anthony Alridge.
