REMEMBERING EMILY

A tribute CD honoring shooting victim Emily Keyes is making the rounds in the mountain communities of Bailey, Conifer and Evergreen.

Keyes, 16, was killed by a gunman in September at Platte Canyon High School in Bailey.

About the CD, which also contains a collage of photos of Keyes and her family:

Songs: Emily - My Heart Goes Out to You, by Luis Gonzalez and Audra Chambers; Emily, A Tribute to Emily Keyes, by The Once Removed Band

$5 is being charged for each CD with proceeds going to the I Love U Guys Foundation set up in her honor.

HE'S GOT ALL HIS MARBLES

Gimme an N. Gimme an I. Gimmie a C. Gimme a K. Yaaaaay, Nick!

Extra! is joining the cheering squad for Colorado's own Nick Anderson, 13, of Grand Junction, who now holds the title of champion after winning the National Marbles Tournament in Wildwood, N.J., in June.

Of his skill, Nick says, "I just look at the marbles and see what I have to shoot at."

Along with a huge trophy and being crowned king of marbles at the award ceremony, Nick also earned a cash award in the form of a scholarship.
