If your pocketbook's feeling the strain but your gift list is far from checked off, don't panic. With only two weekends of holiday shopping left, you can find pre-holiday blowouts, "I almost forgot" last-minute gifts and even some Christmas spirit.

Start at the pre-Christmas sale at Puttin' on the Ritz, 1446 S. Colorado Blvd. Already-discounted prices on red- and green-ticketed items will be marked down 50 percent for two days only, today and Sunday. Most items are new, designer labels, including many from a high-end Aspen boutique. Call 303-759-4398.

Visit a Trunk Full of Treasures, 1539 S. Broadway, which is celebrating its one-year anniversary by slashing prices as much as 60 percent on its unique inventory of antiques and collectibles. With more than 1,000 vintage hats and a recently arrived collection of more than 300 unused Christmas cards from the 1930s to 1950s, you just might find that perfect holiday gift. Call 303-952-4100 or visit www.trunkfulloftreasures.com.

Mark Thursday in your planner, when The Treasured Scarab will kick off its annual pre-Christmas, three-day sale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m through Dec. 22. Sip champagne and taste baklava while browsing vintage and estate jewelry in this bungalow-housed store, 25 E. Dakota Ave. Check out a highlighted collection of 25 pieces of gold Etruscan jewelry (1860-1880) from a Denver collector. Many items, excluding the Etruscan collection, will be marked down from 10 percent to 50 percent. Call 303-777-6884.

Don't miss out on continuing holiday fairs, including the Holiday Marketplace at Thornton's WinterFest. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, a large tent on the city's multipurpose fields, East 108th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, will transform into a shopping village, with 40 vendors selling gifts and holiday decor. Temper your shopping with spirit- boosting activities, from ice-skating and craft shops to fireworks and Santa visits. Call 303-255-7800 or visit www.cityofthornton.net.

The Arvada Center's 21st Annual Art Market is also on its final weekend, with fine contemporary art and crafts for sale from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at 6901 Wadsworth Blvd. Call 720-898-7200.
