A Feb. 25 New York Times travel/dining story "Fine dining with a hippie past" lauded Boulder's new wave of top-notch "green" bistros but ignores a decade of fine healthy dining at places like Sunflower with such blather as: "Boulder, Colo., used to be a tough place to eat good food. Dining news

Among the dishes displayed at the Identità Golose culinary gathering in Milan, Italy was "purée of pork lung and Jerusalem artichoke served under sweetbreads baked in blood pudding and garnished with shards of crispy pig's ear," according to the Los Angeles Times. . . . Gourmet bird hunters are armed this spring with Season Shot Shot Gun Shell Filled with Spices. The "Ammo with Flavor" replaces metal shot with seasoning "beads" that kill the fowl and then melt into the meat. The web site, seasonshot.com, says the "green" product accurately seasons at 45 yards.
