Ehn is a finalist for Hobey Baker Award
Air Force junior forward Eric Ehn was named one of three finalists for the Hobey Baker Award, honoring college hockey's top player.
The other finalists are David Brown, a senior goalie from Notre Dame, and Ryan Duncan, a sophomore forward from North Dakota.
The winner will be announced April 6 in St. Louis, site of the Frozen Four.
Ehn, who finished with 24 goals and 40 assists in 40 games, helped the Falcons reach the NCAA tournament for the first time.
KALBER DIES Former Wasson High School athletic director and wrestling coach George Kalber died Tuesday in Colorado Springs after a long bout with cancer. He was 78.
Kalber, who was at Wasson for 20 years, coached the Thunderbirds to the state wrestling title in 1974.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
CSU SWEPT The Colorado State softball team (21-18) lost a doubleheader to Nebraska, 1-0 and 3-2, in Lincoln.

The University of Colorado women's tennis team (11-6) broke a three-match losing streak Tuesday with a 7-0 victory against the University of San Francisco.
The Air Force baseball team lost to Hawaii Hilo 9-3 in a nonconference game Tuesday.
CROSSOVER STARTS The Colorado Crossover will start its second season in the International Basketball League on Friday. The team will play at Colorado Christian University.
NWAELELE TO PLAY Air Force senior Dan Nwaelele will play in the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-Star game Friday in Atlanta.
HUGHES HONORED Metro State sophomore Sheila Hughes was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's track athlete of the week.
Other conference track honorees were Wayne Durham of Adams State (men's track), Mike Gusbeth of Western State (men's field) and Lisa Holeman of Western State (women's field).
In another honor:
Hannah Warfield-Ruffatto, a senior javelin thrower for CU, was named the Big 12 Conference outdoor track and field co- female athlete of the week.
SKY SOX EXHIBITION The Colorado Springs Sky Sox will play the University of Northern Colorado in an exhibition at 1 p.m. Sunday at Security Service Field in Colorado Springs.
