Coroner ID's couple found dead in apartment

Published March 29, 2007 at midnight

A couple found dead in a Highlands Ranch apartment were identified as Margaret Croze and Randy Florian, the Douglas County coroner said Wednesday.

Douglas County sheriff's deputies did not offer many details about the deaths.

A spokesman called the case an open investigation and said investigators were waiting for the coroner's autopsies before they could release more information.

Investigators also were trying to determine whether the couple lived in the apartment where they were found, said spokesman Deputy Ron Hanavan.

Hanavan said that deputies are not searching for any suspects in connection with the deaths.

The bodies of Croze, 58, and Florian, 50, were found by deputies Tuesday afternoon in an apartment at Campden Highlands Ridge, east of the Village Center and south of South University Boulevard.
