PHOENIX ? Cornerback Dre' Bly and the Broncos have agreed in principle to a five-year deal believed to be worth around $33 million.

The Broncos acquired Bly earlier this month from the Detroit Lions in trade for tackle George Foster and running back Tatum Bell.

Broncos coach Mike Shanahan had said Tuesday he expected Bly to sign a long-term contract with the team.
