AURORA — The funeral for officer Doug Byrne will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Heritage Christian Center, Detective Marcus Dudley said.

Byrne died early Monday morning after he crashed his patrol car while en route to a medical call. Byrne was ejected from his car.

The accident is under investigation.

Heritage Christian Center is at 9495 E. Florida Ave. in Denver.
