3.6% is the current year-over-year "female inflation rate" for goods and services geared toward women, according to David Rosenberg, chief economist for Merrill Lynch. It is 18 times the 0.2 percent inflation rate for goods and services geared toward men.

76% of cell phone owners in the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Spain have Web access from mobile devices, according to a new TNS Media Intelligence poll of 1,000 people in each country. More than a third of those who had mobile Web access used it.
