Suspects sought in shooting of teen

Aurora police are investigating a shooting Friday morning in which a 16-year-old girl was hit in the upper torso.
She was in the parking lot of the Woodridge apartment complex in the 1200 block of South Uvalda Street at the time of the shooting.
Detectives are asking for help identifying people and vehicles involved in the shooting.
They are:
A 1990s dark blue or green Volkswagen, possibly a Jetta, with a moon roof.
The driver was described as a light- skinned black man dressed in dark clothing with an Afro hair style.
He possibly was armed with a handgun.
A passenger in the front seat was described as a female with braided hair and caramel-colored skin.
The second vehicle was a 1980s black Monte Carlo with a red racing strip on the driver's door.
The driver was a black male, late teens or early 20s, 5-feet-9 with a thick build.
After the shooting, the suspects left going north on South Uvalda Street.
No motive has been established for the shooting.
