NEW SKINS

Google Inc. on Tuesday unveiled a spruced-up Web site offering a new option that plants its Internet search box in panoramic settings that change with the time of day and the outside weather. Google's new package of colorful decorations, known as "skins," are designed to make the site more "homey," executives said.

ELLEN ON CARDS

American Greetings Corp. will develop a humorous line of 32 greeting cards with Ellen DeGeneres that will feature illustrations of the 49-year-old comedian along with her quirky observations, the company said Tuesday.

"I like to be up in the middle of everything, and doing it this way is much easier than crashing parties."

Ellen DeGeneres, quoted in an American Greetings release. The cards are expected to be available in stores this summer.

TRANS FATS OUSTED

You'll still be able to buy some peanuts and Cracker Jack at Coors Field this season, but trans fats have fouled out. Aramark Corp., which runs the concession stands at the ballpark, said it will eliminate trans fats in cooking oils at several stadiums this year.
