Our batter judgment
When it comes to personality, the proof is in the pancake
Published March 21, 2007 at midnight
As a kid, you may have been satisfied with a plain ol' pancake with butter and syrup. Maybe a smiley face made of bacon. But as you grow older - and your tastes change - you may be just a tad fussier. In fact, we think pancakes reveal as much about you as your handwriting or your astrological sign. Do you cut off the edges of your pancake? Add fruit? Prefer whole wheat?Read the thoughts of our pancake creations and find out whether you're a Desperate Housewife or an Austin Powers Wannabe.Owner Jon Schlegel and chef Scott Bauer of Snooze, 2262 Larimer St., came up with pancakes to fit personality types supplied by us. The pineapple upside-down pancake is a signature of the restaurant, while some of the others rotate on and off the menu. So we've changed the pancakes' actual names to protect the innocent.
