A 19-year-old Grand Junction man was arrested yesterday after being accused of giving dynamite to a suspected methamphetamine user, the Grand Junction Sentinel reports.

Raymond Ortiz was booked on suspicion of possession of an explosive device and is being held on $150,000 bail.

Court documents indicate that Ortiz has been linked to a series of meth-related arrests involving dynamite.

A 27-year-old woman told police that Ortiz showed up at her home and asked her to find a buyer for the explosive.
