Exploding propane tanks contributed to a house fire in Indians Hills this morning.

Firefighters from Inter-Canyon, Elk Creek and Indian Hills fire departments were on the scene.

The fire is at 7925 Firehouse Hill Road, which is where a former Inter-Canyon fire chief may live, according to Jefferson County sheriff's spokeswoman Jacki Kelley.
