Dismissed jurors in the Nacchio trial

Here's a list of jurors in the original pool who were excused from serving on the Nacchio panel:

Excused by Judge Nottingham for cause (14 total; 12 on Monday and two Tuesday):

One man with a health problem not publicly disclosed

Two men with hearing problems

One older man with memory problems

One man who said he has some kind of security clearance through his job that allows him to view classified material

Two men for financial hardships — one a construction worker, the other a farmer who has to plant crops

Six for knowing too much about the case, usually through the media. Includes a woman who works at The Denver Post and two men who said they used the search engine Google to look up information about Nacchio.

One man who had previously served as a jury formean and later learned information about the defendant

Excused by the prosecution (5 total; all excused on Monday):

Man from Denver who works for Habitat for Humanity in Denver

Man from Parker who works as an addiction counselor

Man from Erie, works as a janitor

Woman from Colorado Springs, works at a Catholic Church

Man from Golden, works as a temporary laborer

Excused by the defense (10 total; nine on Monday, one on Tuesday):

Woman from Colorado Springs with associate's degree in business

Woman from Silverthorne, owns a financial administration company

Woman from Longmont, works for the city of Longmont's utility billing department

Littleton man, electrical engineer

Lafayette woman with a high school diploma

Canon City man who works as a prison guard

Pueblo man, retired steel mill worker

Pueblo woman, manages a General Nutriton Center store

Castle Rock woman, member of National Guard

Woman from Lafayette, environmental engineer
