Bishop Acen Phillips has been sued in federal court by AIG Insurance for allegedly defrauding the firm of hundreds of thousands of dollars in life insurance, according to CBS 4 News.

Bishop Phillips, the American Church United and three other Colorado church organizations, are accused of falsifying paperwork, altering beneficiary forms and using disbarred attorneys to send fake letters.
