Bingo bandits sought in Arvada

Published March 12, 2007 at midnight

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is asking help in finding three men who robbed the Arvada Bingo at 5390 Sheridan Boulevard last night.

The sheriff’s department reports the three entered about 10:20 p.m., all were armed and two wore bandannas over their faces. They demanded money from the cashiers and then fled before deputies arrived. Authorities would not say how much they got.

They may have used a gray SUV or a cream-colored older model station wagon with chrome lines on the hood to make their getaway.

One suspect was a white male, 20 to 25 years old, between 6-feet and 6-feet-4, 150 pounds with light, short hair.

Both of the others were described as Hispanic males, approximately 5-feet-8, 145 pounds.

A woman who may have information came into the business briefly but left just before the robbery. She was described as a white female, about 35 years old, 5-foot-7, 130 pounds, with blond hair and dark highlights that extended just below the collar.

Anyone with information is asked to call detective Larry Peterson at 720-322-1213 or the Records Section at 720-322-1313.
