39 points gained in overtime for the Wild this season, 21 more than the Avalanche. The Wild is 16-7 in overtime, the Avalanche 6-6.

TEAMWORK PAYS

Paul Stastny and Milan Hejduk have turned into quite a dangerous offensive duo for the Avalanche.

While Stastny was setting his NHL record for rookies Sunday by collecting a point in his 18th consecutive game, Hejduk was the beneficiary of the assist and scored a goal for the fourth game in a row.

Hejduk has put together an impressive eight-game point streak with six goals and seven assists, and he has amassed 13 goals and 15 assists in the past 20 games.

"Paul and 'Hedgie' seem to be feeding off each other well," coach Joel Quenneville said. "Their puck possession is noticeable, and they're taking on guys one-on-one, passing through sticks and skates. They have a lot of confidence with the puck."

MOORE IN ACTION

Wild center Dominic Moore, the younger brother of former Avalanche forward Steve Moore, began the game on a line with forwards Pavol Demitra and Marian Gaborik, but he only took two shifts in the third period.

The Wild acquired Moore, 26, from the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Feb. 27 trading deadline in exchange for a third-round draft pick. Moore scored two goals Friday in Minnesota's 5-1 win at Buffalo and has eight goals and nine assists in 64 games overall.

HE SAID IT
