Winners of the 2007 Business for the Arts Awards were announced Thursday by the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts.

The Philanthropy Award, recognizing exemplary corporate citizenship and generosity to arts and culture, was given to the Gates Corp. and Gunnison County Times.

The Innovation Award, recognizing an inspired blending of business and arts that propels business achievement, was given to Corporex Colorado and Mile High Development for its Museum Residences project.

The Workforce Award, recognizing creative investments in employee development and volunteerism, was given to Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture.

The Workspace Award, recognizing exceptional design that advances business objectives, was given to Mercy Regional Medical Center.
