Published March 9, 2007 at midnight
A fire in the 900 block of Kramer Court in Aurora this morning put
three people out of their home and caused about $80,000 in damage.
Aurora firefighters were called at 9:53 a.m. They found heavy smoke and
flames coming out of the front when they arrived.
They found no one home and the flames were quickly brought under
control.
Fire officials say the fire appears to have started in the living room
and spread through a heat duct into the crawl space.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The American Red Cross is finding shelter for an adult and two children
who were living in the house.
