Steve Suechting, the top broker at Trammell Crow and a 20-year veteran of commercial real estate, has joined Grubb & Ellis as a senior vice president of the Investment Services Group in Denver.

Suechting will be partnering with the Grubb team of Riki Hashimoto and Dan Grooten, the top producers at Grubb for the past four years.

"I’ve known Steve since his first day in the business, and I can’t think of a better fit for our existing investment team," said Mark Balenger, managing director of the Denver Grubb office.

Suechthing had been an executive vice president with Trammell Crow, which recently was purchased by CB Richard Ellis. His clients have included Morgan Stanley, LBA Realty, Amerivest Properties, Invesco and Principal Capital Management
