McWhinney Enterprises on Wednesday unveiled its Grand Station in Centerra, a million- square-foot, mixed-use development that will be LEED certified under U.S. Green Building standards.

Grand Station, on 60 acres at Interstate 25 and U.S. 34 in Loveland, will include 480,000 square feet of shopping, dining and entertainment; 145,000 square feet of Class A office space; 100,000 square feet of medical space; 160 residential units; and more than 400 hotel rooms.

The hotels will include the four-star Hotel Valencia with 180 rooms, a 110-room Courtyard by Marriott and a 110-room Hilton Garden Inn.

Grand Station will feature architecture reminiscent of historic train depots in Colorado.

Another feature will be the Grand Square, which will include grassy areas, a stage and pavilion, a large fire pit and interactive water features.

The architect is Baltimore- based Development Design Group, and Greeley-based Hensel Phelps will be the general contractor.
