9News and medical reporter Stephanie Clements have parted ways.

The contract of Clements, a full-time reporter for more than six years, expired Feb. 28 after the station offered what she called "a ridiculously low'' financial contract the day before.

Clements said she still is owed severance and indicated her attorney would meet with 9News regarding her severance pay. Mark Cornetta, president and general manager, said he couldn't comment on any questions regarding Clements' contract and her departure.
