Already well-laden with Denverites, the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line will kick off its national tour at the Buell Theatre May 6 through 17, 2008.

The Broadway production features Denver-area native Mara Davi in the role of Maggie (At the Ballet) and local choreographer Michael Gorman, who served as assistant choreographer on the production. Gorman performed in the original Broadway production as a replacement in the role of Bobby.

The revival received mixed reviews when it opened this fall, but has already turned a profit.

The last national tour to launch in Denver was The Lion King in 2002.
