TUCSON -- Rockies first baseman Todd Helton was scratched from the lineup for Saturday's intra-squad game against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Hi Corbett Field.

Helton was originally in the lineup for the game, but complained of inflammation in his right knee.

It is not believed to be serious. Players routinely develop some joint soreness early in the spring because of the hardness of the ground in Arizona.

John Mabry, originally in the lineup as the designated hitter, was moved to first base, and Steve Finley was inserted into the DH role.
