A man died last night when two semi trucks collided head-on seven miles west of New Raymer in Weld County, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

One of the trucks peeled off of Highway 14 and hit the other vehicle about 9:30 p.m., said Trooper Gilbert Mares. The trucks were headed in opposite directions.

The state patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
