Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates is the scheduled guest speaker at this year's graduation ceremony at the Air Force Academy.

This will be Gates' first graduation speech at the academy.

He was named Secretary of Defense after the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld, who was last year’s speaker.

Graduation for the Class of 2007 is May 30 at Falcon Stadium.
