Broomfield seeks bank robber
Published March 2, 2007 at midnight
A TCF Bank in Broomfield was robbed about 6 p.m. last night by a man
who pushed a note to a teller demanding money, then ran after he was
given an undisclosed amount of cash.
Broomfield police spokeswoman Sgt. Heidi Walts said no weapons were
seen during the robbery at the bank in the 4100 block of West 144th
Ave.
The man was about 5-foot-7, wearing blue coveralls, sunglasses, a stocking hat and a scarf over his mouth.
A newer model, shiny, burgundy Suburban with tinted windows might be
associated with the stickup.
Anyone who may have seen the man leave, or has information related to
this case, is asked to contact Detective Bruce Fitzgerald at
303-438-6455.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the identification
and arrest of the suspect.
