IN NEED OF A BOOST
A tougher seat-belt and child-seat law passed the Senate despite mostly Republican opposition. That led Sen. Greg Brophy, R-Wray, to jest that short Democrats now will be required to use booster seats.
"There are three of them that are 5-feet-nothing," said the 5-foot-6 Brophy, who added, "At least I'm 5-feet- something."
The bill's sponsor, Sen. Peter Groff, D-Denver, joked, "They have some fashionable car seats now. The good news is they don't have to sit in the Power Ranger seat."

Williams said she wanted a Wonder Woman booster seat, while Schwartz said she needs one with a Blackberry.
