Sen. Wayne Allard of Colorado said he doesn't believe his Republican colleague who was arrested in a men's restroom is gay.

Allard said he's never heard anyone discuss Sen. Larry Craig's sexuality.

"Never. Nada. Not one rumor of impropriety," he said.

"I'm flabbergasted," added Allard, who has worked with Craig on a number of Western issues. "I don't believe he's gay."
