Crash hurts 3, shuts I-25 near Lincoln

At least three people were injured in a crash involving an 18-wheeler and a pickup this morning, briefly closing northbound Interstate 25 near Lone Tree.

The collision just before 8 a.m. sheered off the bed of a blue, four-door pickup and closed northbound I-25 near East Lincoln Avenue, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Three ambulances transported the injured to Littleton Adventist Hospital, according to a regional Met-Com emergency dispatcher. The number and condition of the injured were not immediately known.
