Clear skies give way to cloudy, cooler forecast
Published August 28, 2007 at midnight
The silver lining for this morning's eclipse? Clear skies.
The silver lining in the cloudy forecast this week? Slightly cooler temperatures, with a chance of more rain.
So pull up a lawn chair and maybe an umbrella and check out CBS 4 weatherman Ed Greene's outlook into the weekend.
Ed is calling for partly cloudy skies through tonight with a chance of thunderstorms. Look for highs in the mid-80s this afternoon.
There's an even better chance of thunderstorms tomorrow, Ed says, with a high of 79 degrees.
The chance of rain is expected to decrease as we near the weekend, with a gradual warming trend in the forecast.
The high temperature by Saturday is expected to be 90 degrees
a degree higher than yesterday's 89 in Denver.
