MY TWIN IS MY MOM

Congressional candidate Betsy Markey, below left, introduced her daughter, Katie, during a political event Wednesday in Denver, but no introductions were needed. Everyone present knew 21-year-old Katie was family.

Betsy Markey, who is running for the Democratic nomination in the 4th Congressional District, said people constantly remark on how much her daughter looks like her.

Markey received the endorsement of her former boss, U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar, at a news conference at the Capitol.

In a recent national survey conducted by AAA:

46% of teens said they text-messaged while driving

51% of teens said they talked on their cell phone while driving.

Do Colorado teens engage in distracting driving habits as much as other teens nationally? AAA Colorado hopes to find out with an anonymous online survey.
