Daniels Fund approves $11.6 million in grants

Programs serving the homeless, the aging and the disabled were among major grant recipients as the Daniels Fund board approved $11.6 million in funding at their third quarter meeting this week in Colorado Springs.

Major grant recipients in Colorado include the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, Arapahoe House Inc., Colorado Boys Ranch Foundation in La Junta, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, Colorado Drug Endangered Children Inc., Colorado Neurological Institute, County of El Paso School District 2, Craig Hospital Foundation, Foundation for Educational Excellence, Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs, Grand Valley Catholic Outreach, Independence Institute, Junior Achievement - Rocky Mountain Inc., La Puente Home Inc., Mile High United Way, Denver's Road Home, North Park Medical Clinic Inc., St. Francis Center, Senior Hub Inc., the Salvation Army Intermountain Division, Urban Peak – Denver, West Denver Prep Charter School and Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum.
