TOP 10
Columbine: The defending state champion lost only four starters and has an abundance of talent available for another run at the title.
Mullen: As always, the Mustangs just reload. A trip to their fourth consecutive championship game would not be surprising.
Douglas County: The Huskies lost in overtime to Mullen in the state semifinals last season, and no one is counting them out this year.
Pomona: With eight three-year starters in the fold, the Panthers are ready to make a serious bid for the big-school title.
Grandview: The Wolves return one of the states leading rushers in Bo Bolen and could make up for a second-round upset loss.
Cherry Creek: Depth, experience and a name quarterback should put the Bruins back on the championship path.
Legacy: Defense and a solid offensive line help give the Lightning the nod in its league and a shot at state honors.
Mountain Vista: There still is an abundant amount of talent left for the Golden Eagles, and they will not be overlooked.
Bear Creek: With the skill positions set, the Bears have the talent to give the front runners all they can handle this season.
Rocky Mountain: The Lobos have solid playmakers on both sides of the football to challenge in the Front Range League.
