The Broncos filled their available roster spot Wednesday morning, signing veteran defensive linemen John Browning. Browning, now entering his 12th season, played 11 years for Kansas City.

Browning was released by the Chiefs last September after reaching an injury settlement with the team. Browning could likely play some at left defensive end — or power end — but played mostly as a tackle in his time in Kansas City.

He has started 96 games in his career.
