Published August 20, 2007 at midnight
The Colorado Rural Health Grant Council, which was created earlier this month through an executive order by Gov. Bill Ritter, is looking for six consumer-health advocates to help distribute $7.5 million primarily to community-based organizations seeking to improve the quality and access to healthcare in rural Colorado.
The funds, to be distributed over six years, were donated by insurer United Healthcare. People interested in joining the council have until today to submit an application. To do so, please contact Cody Belzley at cody.belzley@state.co.us
