Frontier plans switch to turboprops for Albuquerque
Published August 20, 2007 at midnight
Frontier Airlines will switch to its new turboprop planes on most of its flying between Denver and Albuquerque.
The flights will be operated by Frontier's subsidiary Lynx Aviation starting Oct. 24, according to Frontier's Web site. Lynx will fly four daily round-trip flights between the destinations. Frontier also will fly a larger Airbus 318 on one round-trip flight each day.
Currently, Frontier operates regional jets on the route.
In addition to Albuquerque, Frontier has announced that Lynx will fly to cities in Montana, Kansas, Iowa and South Dakota. It'll also fly to several mountain and smaller towns in Colorado, although Frontier has not yet revealed the in-state destinations.
