IN THE PINK

Want to see a flower so rare that only three locations worldwide have it? You're in luck. The Denver Botanic Gardens has a new species of waterlily that was made with a special purpose in mind: It's part of a project to raise money to fight breast cancer.

Water Gardeners International developed the species, of which there are only three, calling it "pink ribbon." Its color is the same as the breast cancer awareness ribbons.

The auctioning of the three flowers raised $1,500, which will go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
