Recipe: One-Eyed Jack
Published August 15, 2007 at midnight
Serves 1
1 piece sliced Wonder Bread
1 egg
Butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat a skillet to medium/medium high on stove. Grease with butter (or spray with cooking spray).
Take a glass that is a couple of inches smaller in diameter than the bread, and use like a cookie-cutter to cut out a hole in the bread. (Eat the middle of the hole.)
Butter the rest of the piece of bread, both sides. Put bread in skillet, crack egg carefully into the hole.
Cook until egg is to desired doneness, flipping halfway.
Salt and pepper to taste. Add a slice of fried Spam or bologna on top if desired.
