Police have suspects in the killing of an unidentified man late Thursday night outside a Popeye's Chicken restaurant, Denever Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said today.

Police received a call just after 11 p.m. of a man shot at the fast-food restaurant at Colfax Avenue and Gaylord Street.

"The man was pronounced dead some time later," Jackson said. The man was black and in his 30s, Jackson said.

Investigators are not releasing the names of suspects, he said.
