Lockdown called off for Aurora schools

Five Aurora schools that werein lockdown because of police activity in the area have resumed normal operations.
There was no direct threat to any schools or campuses, Aurora Public Schools spokeswoman Paula Hans said.
Hans did not have information on what the police activity was. Aurora police could not be reached immediately.
Rangeview High School, Mrachek Middle School and Side Creek, Iowa and Vassar elementary schools were in lockdown from around 11 a.m. to about 1 p.m.
Classes remained in session.
